Fabulous Lewis, this is such an entertaining story to read and the illustrations are skilful and amusing as always.

Another wonderful social comment. I remember those days, suddenly Hornby Trains did not have the same appeal!

Lewis, this is great, love the red face!!! Great fun and very skilfully drawn.

Ain't it the truth Lew. The road to ruin starts early......(-:

Love your snippets of social history with all those fantastic illustrations Lewis.

Ah the day I put my conkers away for ever!

Ah, yes, I remember it well. Highly entertaining story and superb illustrations, Lew. Bri

Thanks for your great feedback, I guess all the lads will recognize this, and the girls I expect...usually they are ahead of the boys in maturity matters.

Another great illustration , Lewis, you are so good at effortlessly capturing facial expressions!

Your facial expressions and colours are priceless, Lewis...and yes, I think we can all relate to this!

I wasn't sure whether to cover this, but it's an important part of growing up so I've given it a shot. I can't remember exactly when and how it happened, but I do know I went from having no interest in girls to being attracted to them more or less overnight. I think that's how it happens, you may disagree. I do know I was still in short pants. Nothing much changed, I was still a kid, but girls were now on the agenda. So, apart from those factors, this page is pure fantasy, and just a way to present the idea.

Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
