Oil on gessoed panel. 20x20 cm. Studio study painted from photos and a small pastel sketch done on-site. Depicts the afterglow of the sun on clouds and contrails as the sun dips behind the horizon. Cape Cornwall lies on the NW Cornish coast of the Penwith peninsula.
