Like this a lot.

Oozes with style.

Brilliant use of green .

Thank you so much Romila, Tony and Sylvia for your encouraging feedback!

This is lovely and I like the style in which you have painted it

I really like this and I agree, it's very stylish.

Super - a really good study of using greens to create strong impact and harmony

Well it’s nicely balanced Jenny, I’ve never used these myself.

Like it a lot Jenny as there is a lot to like about it .I put your name to it before I notice it was yours .

Super painting Jenny. Definitely does not need more fiddling.

Beautifully painted, Jenny, as Tony says, it oozes with such style!

This has worked beautifully Jenny. Full of style and panache. You should be proud of this.

Thanks very much for the lovely comments - I wasn’t at all sure about this one so am delighted with so much positive feedback!

Beautiful! Very unique and skillful executed Jenny!

Thanks, Detlev, comment really appreciated!

Great greens and composition in your style.

So stylish Jenny. A beautifully balanced piece.

Well designed and excellent colour palette. I do like the way you have achieved the water effects under the viaduct Jenny. You always come up with a pleasing picture.

Many thanks Richard, Fiona and Frank for your very kind comments.

Really good for wax pastel Jenny. Mine are Neocolor I so not able to add water, though I’ve just watched Tim Fisher in one of the videos on here and he used oil paint thinners with his.

Thanks, Frank! I bought a set years ago but until recently have only used them for touching up or correcting watercolour paintings. Being water soluble they are amazingly versatile - I tend to blend them with water on the paper to get a smooth finish. My set has a really good range of greens which I find useful as I hate mixing greens.

Love this stylised approach.

Thank you, David!

A local scene I’ve painted lots of times. This time I thought I’d use mainly Neocolour II water soluble wax pastels. The colours tend to be quite strong and I’m really not sure how well it’s worked. I’ve spent so long trying to balance the colours and am now thoroughly fed up with it - thought if I posted it I’d stop fiddling with it!
