August forum challenge (same subject painted different ways)

Another superb piece Jenny

It's odd, Jenny...I often find simple subjects hard work. But you've done a super job on these, and don't they look well together. (Your idea of the same 'picture' completed in different ways seems to be the intended challenge, so I think I'll be bailing out).

They make a very good set Jenny and I like the different backgrounds.

Many thanks Dennis, Lewis, Tessa and Val for your kind comments. It was an interesting exercise - I hadn't used the Inktense pencils before and will definitely try them again - but it reminded me why I just can't get on with pastels!

What a great idea Jenny and all of them very well painted.

This is an interesting response to the challenge - it works well - can almost see it as a poster for the kitchen!! Well done !
