June forum challenge (recycling)

That’s clever! I’ve dug out all my failed paintings too and am awaiting inspiration.

Thanks, Katy! It took me quite a while to decide what to do with this one and I’m not entirely happy with it, but the challenges do encourage you to try something completely different.

Jenny it’s just what we need to brighten up our day! Very clever, I love the vase and the blue and orange plate ? in the background. I’m planning a still life for my next one....may be tomorrow.

Thanks, Fiona! Wish I’d thought about it being a plate, would have given it a more circular shape. None of it is stuck down, so may reconfigure it all for another attempt later. Look forward to seeing yours tomorrow!

Very good those colours!

Thanks, Linda!

Great idea and you achieved the cheerfulness Jenny.

Thanks, Carole!

On reflection, it’s perhaps a bit OTT with all those complementary colours, but the weather’s so miserable at the moment, felt like doing something a bit more cheerful!
