I liked the first one a lot this has the edge over the first one and I think is much better.

Looks very good to me.

A striking contrast between the foreground and the belted cow, Jenny. The composition works well.

Very effective, I like the different textures in the foreground Jenny.

Jennie, I agree that digital reproduction never lives up to the reality of the original painted image. I like both posts, each has its good points. I prefer the sun in number one where it is cut by a branch to disturb the circularity of the disc, to me more interesting, but of course that’s a personal thing. Your art never fails to be attractive.

Spencer, Paul, David, Carol, Carole and Frank - thanks very much for your welcome comments, I do appreciate them.

The three elements trees, sun, and Cow work well in the gorgeous colour Jenny.

There’s a lovely clarity of colours in this version. The lighter sky is much better

One belted Galloway...suddenly they are popu Ar. I always enjoy your work Jenny.

Thanks very much John, Martin and Sylvia for your encouraging comments! We’ve had Belted Galloways on our local heath for some years now - before that we had really docile and friendly Highland Cattle until some health and safety directive deemed them too dangerous to handle because of their long horns!

I do like your style of painting and I think this is the better of the two.

Thank you, Lynda!

Thanks very much, Coral!

I really like the way you have used watercolour in this illustrative way Jenny. Very pleasing .

Thank you, Christine!

Watercolour 18 x 23 “. On reflection, I wasn’t happy with my previous post. It looks OK on the gallery, but I used far too much (DR) Green Gold in the foreground and in strong sunlight this colour can look very garish. Have done another version with a slightly different colour and composition which (I think) I’m happier with. Shouldn’t have been so hasty in posting the first one! - although it was good to get some feedback.
