A belted Galloway, how wonderful! In fact Jenny, this could be Bonny Galloway...lol. A complex landscape which gels beautifully.

Thanks very much for the lovely comments! We have Belted Galloways on Headley Heath - this is a view from the edge of the heath looking towards Leatherhead. Have used quite bit of artistic licence, though, and left out all the untidy silver birch which spoil the view!

Watercolour/pen and ink, 13” x 18.5”. Did an earlier, smaller version of this, but felt it looked a bit cramped so thought I’d try a wider, landscape version. Spent ages trying to get the balance of colours to look right, but think I just about got there in the end.
