Health and safety gone mad, as usual. Gorgeous colour pallet, the Galloway gives a lovely contrast.

I see quite a lot of Belties here Jenny, I’m in Galloway, but I prefer the Highland. The Highland wouldn’t stand out in your gorgeous landscape as well the Beltie does. They do look super together.

Such a lovely painting Jenny, you have certainly got a style of your own, I recognised it straight away.

Many thanks Carol, Fiona and Margaret! Yes, I suppose the Galloways do make a better subject to paint, but I miss the characterful Highlands! (This is my second attempt at this painting - the first had a couple of smaller cattle in the background but it looked too fussy, so I added the birds instead to fill the gap.)

Beautiful scene and well designed Jenny.

Superb use of shapes and spaces, Jenny. A lovely palette and great subject too!

Thanks very much Carole and Seok for your kind comments!
