I remember looking out of my bedroom window one snowy evening, trying to take a snow photo, when these people walking home from shopping came into view. My painting is based on a small part of that photo, done in gouache on a freebie sheet of paper (St Cuthbert’s 300gsm CP) from my local art shop.
