Having studied printmaking at art college I can appreciate the skill behind the creation of this image. You can see the texture in the ink which adds to the solidity of the lorry. Great work, well done.

Thanks Carolyn, Les and Dennis. Les, the texture created a bit of an issue with subsequent layers, I probably got the ink too thick initially.

I find working with linocuts fascinating, especially the reduction method like this. This one has 11 layers and 13 colours in its makeup, the tricky part is getting the registration right. Quite a few enjoyable hours spent on this. Reduction linocut 8x8in.
