Smeeton Westerby
It was a lovely sunny morning one day in July last year, an abandoned meet-up with an outdoor sketching group, when I decided to have a drive around some local villages to look for something to sketch. On the third villiage I came to, I was suddenly presented with this lovely view across some allotments, south of the village. I sat on the roadside in lovely early morning sunshine and sketched. A year later, I turned that sketch into a painting, done in my micro studio using acrylics 6x12 inches on board.
