Think it's the time of year Carole, hopefully you will feel more inspired soon. Meanwhile this is lovely! I like the minimalist feel and as Faye said, the touch of gold.

It’s beautifully done Carole. As to your feeling uninspired, it’s that rind of year awaiting the new growth etc and shedding the winter doldrums. Just keep doodling and you will soon be back on track.

That's so sad Carole, go out and breathe some fresh air and think how wonderful it is to be able to paint such a beautiful flower as this. Inspiration is anywhere you look, with a sprinkle of imagination and you definitely have that.

This is lovely, Carole - I know what you mean about struggling for inspiration - I can't come up with new ideas but I did treat myself to some gold watercolour paint after seeing some of your previous paintings and have enjoyed playing with it.

Love the gold on the petals, Carole. Keep playing around, your inspiration will soon be back. The dreary weather this time of year doesn’t help, does it, although we’ve had beautiful sunshine the past couple of days!

This is super Carole, I too get stuck for ideas, often for days on end, but that’s how it goes. Occasionally ideas come thick and fast, only for me to wonder how to go about implementing them.

This is so pretty and delicate. I think it’s so easy to put pressure on ourselves to find inspiration and create but I feel it’s good to take time out and just play.... sometimes that’s when inspiration strikes 😊
