Some lovely effects and colours in this Carole, haven't heard of alcohol inks before, do they behave differently to acrylic inks on yupo? (Thanks for your comment re yupo on my latest post, I have replied to it.)

Thank you. Yes Jenny these inks spread in a circle and increase rapidly so only need a spot and as they spread they keep a darker rim that's what gave me the idea to make it into water lilies. Thanks David, yes the three colours came as a set but I don't think I will buy more as prefer my usual acrylic inks and watercolour.

Really nice effect, similar to a ink and oil swirl I remember doing many years ago. Lovely complementary colours again Carole.

Lovely patterns and colours Carole, how are you finding the yupo? I tried alcohol inks on tiles last year at the art club. You can't really control it you have to let it do it's own thing but you can scratch into it when it's almost dry. If I can find them I'll post one.

Alcohol inks on yupo paper (first attempt with alcohol inks) not sure about them. They can be used on any smooth surface, even tiles.
