You are certainly turning some stuff out Carole, fabulous as always.

Undisputed flower queen Carole. Lovely work

Got to say Carole more and more brilliant

Stunning leaves.

This is absolutely fabulous, Carole. The different greens in the leaves are so realistic. I wonder why all the toxic plants are the most beautiful?

The attention to detail is wonder. I love the delicate folds of the leaves and petals. I really like green and white together

A Wonderful painting of a very dangerous flower. it really is lovely Carole

Very nicely done Carole, particularly like the leaves.

What a skill you have Carole! This one once again is stunning!

wonderful work Carole.

Oh Carole, another of your beautiful creations! I am so sorry I have not had the time to follow you these last few weeks. However, I have seen your entry with a gorgeous flower done in pencils... So well done my friend!

Thank you so much everyone your comments mean so much. Thanks Bea, hope you are keeping well.

It seems quite ridiculous that such a beautiful plant can be so toxic. Smashing painting and my most favourite piece is that little leaf behind the flower at the bottom.

This is again amazing, Carole. You are definitely our "Queen of Flowers". :) Mia.

One question Carole: what size are your watercolours usually? All these stunning details are certainly not in a small A4?

Commonly known as jimsonweed......so very attractive, your illustration is beautiful, Carole.

Thank you very much for such lovely comments. Mia this one is 12x 8" , thank you.

Albeit toxic, this is very attractive, Carole.

Thank you Cesare, very kind.

Your flowers are gorgeous, Carole.

Another beautiful piece of work Carole

That delicate touch Carole....some super tonal observation here.... a great job.

Hey Carole, your work is reminding me of the great Audubon.....

Another beauty ...I find white so difficult ...lovely!

Thanks again for your kind feedback all. Guy what a compliment thank you! Sylvia I used Davy's grey to emphasise shadows in the white, better and easier than trying to mix a suitable shadow as I never get it right.

This is beautiful Carole, I like the varying tones in the leaves.

Another brilliant piece of work Carole.

really beautiful and great detail once again

Thanks for the tip Carol....will give it a go :)

Thank you Margaret, Charles, Val and Sylvia.

Stunning work, Carole! Beautifully composed and executed.

Watercolour and watercolour pencil

About the Artist
Carole Swingler

Self- taught artist, I have dabbled in watercolours for many years on and off. My first love is flower painting in watercolour. Now trying many different media including acrylic inks, gouache, all types of pencils to try loose-ish semi abstract images.
