That’s lovely Fiona, so simply done but so very effective!

Lovely painting and a good use of the time whilst waiting for the other one to dry

Another very "Fiona" like work. Smashing use of the darks.

I'm jealous of your view! This is lovely :)

Fast and loose - I like it, Fiona

Effective fresh washes on the rough paper match the feeling of the low tide, the estuary, the natural palette is perfect.

Simple but effective, you suggest so much here.

A great spontaneous sketch of a beautiful view,I am jealous of the view as well.

And glorious it is too Fiona. I envy your loose style it is always so effective. In reply to your comment on mine, Assynt was as lovely as ever especially in the autumn sunshine the colours were glorious. I visited my favourite of all beaches too, Mellon Udrigle, brought back some happy memories :)

Lovely painting, Fiona.

Lovely fresh and lively painting Fiona

Lovely beautiful mud .

In your typical style, well done Fiona.

I like it, Fiona. Spontaneous and good.

Well done for cracking on with this landscape whilst you had a bit of time on your hands. It would have been so much easier to have sat down with a coffee. I like it anyway Fiona, keep up the good work1

Simple but so effective.

The gentle colours and washes are beautiful Fiona, no wonder you couldn't resist painting such a lovely scene 😀

And what glorious mud it is Fiona. Yet another lovely scene- you never miss an opportunity to bring us your delightful scenes.

Very effective Fiona, very impressionistic!

Beautiful fluid washes Fiona.. mud, nothing quite like it for soothing the blood! You remember it?

Well fiona the juggling artist the girl who not content with doing one job...does two.... I struggle with one... It's true women are better at multi tasking.... Here's the proof... No orange though 💭ummm...??

Love the lively brushstrokes!

Many thanks everyone for your lovely comments! I wasn’t going to post this one because I thought it lacked ‘something’......just goes to show you all have better taste than I do! Lol Alan.....I did three paintings at the same time but didn’t like to say.....lol....I try and do one with lots of orange, especially for you.

Thanks Gudrun!!

Fiona you have such a wonderful loose style, I wish I could let go like this. Brilliant! William.

12”x10” watercolour on Jacksons rough. At Monday’s art group whilst waiting for ‘green toms’ washes to dry, I did this sketch from the window of the Cree Estuary. The tide was fully out leaving just the odd pool, and lots of mud!
