I'm so relieved you think it's not too bad, I wasn't sure whether I had over done the background a little. As he is predominantly black and white, I needed to show those areas up some how. Very effective Fiona, looks to be a feisty bird, I haven't done Lino cuts since school when I think people near me were in mortal danger of having chunks taken out of them, I had the knack of making the tool jump up out of the cut I was making like a guided missile, drove the art teacher to distraction, probably why he said I would never be any good at art 😀 I think your image is so striking, nice one.
