A stunner Fiona.

Nothing wrong with trees! I love this Fiona, it really does glow!

Love your use of colours here Fiona.

Nicely done Fiona.

Paul, Cheryl, Stephen, Denise, Sarah, Tessa, Stephen…..thank you very much for looking and your lovely comments.

The paper you used appears to have a woven texture which adds greatly to the visual appeal.

Love it Fiona- those dashes of Yellow, against the Blue and Red/Brown-

Again another winner Fiona, keep them coming.

There’s exciting Fiona.

Many thanks James, Rachel, John, Chris, Sylvia for your lovely feedback.

Love the spontaneity you have created and the palette is perfect for this particular painting Fiona.

Wonderful title for a lovely painting Fiona.

Beautiful, Fiona, love the colours.

Nice painting Fiona I particularly like the trees . I'm looking at it on my phone as I scrolled down it covered half of the foreground and I think it looked even better , I hope you don't mind me saying that I mean it with me best intentions , happy Christmas and new year Fiona .

Beautiful golden flakes. Rich Autumn colour Fiona. No we never tire of trees…

Lovely picture Fiona, you've really captured Autumn here. All we need is the smell of bonfire smoke!

A welcome touch of brightness Fiona before the grey winter colours set in.

Lovely work, and nothing wrong with painting trees.. more..more!

Beautiful, Fiona - love the glowing yellow leaves!

Trees indeed Fiona, but rather nice trees shedding the last of its leaves. Great palette as well, for me personally, I would have cropped a ‘chunk’ (professional term) of the foreground off…it’s a bit of a 50/50 split! Yes, I’m nitpicking again dear!

A fabulous depiction of Autumn and a spot on title!

Love the palette and the steaminess of the distance. Very evocative

Thank you everyone for your great comments, support and advice. I know I say this a lot but your input really is appreciated.

As I’ve been told “you can’t have enough trees” and rightly so and you done them proud!👍

Superb, Fiona, inspiring in fact...no deciduous trees here though! In fact, almost no trees at all, as noted by Peter Cronin in January Artist!!

Wonderful colours!

My thoughts exactly william but trees aren’t everyone’s cup of tea…..thank you, means a lot coming from another tree lover! I know that problem Thalia, I lived in the highlands of Scotland for a while. Hardly any trees, no surprise when the sheep far out number people. Thank you for your comment. Many thanks Lynda and Spencer for your lovely comments.

Thanks for your reply Fiona, glad I didn't upset you . The reason it's better is the trees are busy and lovely and the foreground was too busy and competing for attention . Best wishes Fiona

Thank you again Dennis, I totally agree with you!

Great composition, Fiona!

Small oil on paper. Started of as a small oil sketch……but it went on a wee bit! Love having this priceless and inspiring commodity on my doorstep, yes, it’s trees again but I can’t help it!
