Interesting to see the sketch which led to the watercolour. The figures explain the size of the rocks. I remember Rockcliffe but had forgotten the scale.

Well Fiona, just looked at the painting it's nice to see the sketch worked up like that, I think it makes a great watercolour too it lends itself to the medium in the right hands, and your's certainly are.. My watercolours would ruin it.. It would make a nice pen and wash too... You'd be good at that I bet?..if I did that in Acrylics it'd have have orange in it...😁
