That works so well. Fiona! Love it!!

Lovely works well 🥰

I really like this look Fiona.

I think it looks great Fiona - more often than not I don't do preliminary drawings (too impatient) and sometimes it looks awful (in my case) but it can look nice and lively. Like this! And I must get hold of some walnut ink, seeing as everyone is talking about it!!

I like the looseness very much Fiona, super result!

Very effective. I like this way of painting.

Very well done Fiona.

I really like the result Fiona. Those colours are lovely too.

I love this sketchy look and lovely balance of colours. Really effective.

Lovely loose work, impressive!

I like this, very impressive!

Splashy and splodgy, lovely. My favourite is the garlic!

It all comes together really well Fiona.

Love the style of this still life Fiona.

I think this is great, love the freedom of the mark making

The looseness adds movement to the piece which brings it alive. Absolutely delightful

Love the spontaneity and your use of ink/paint here Fiona. Great selection of veg by the way for shapes and colour.

Very earthly colouring Fiona. Great mark making as well.

Thank you ever so much everyone for your continued and generous comments and feedback. You top up my confidence when I need it. Thank you x

A lovely loose still life, Fiona.

12”x12” watercolour and walnut ink on Saunders paper. I wanted a sketchy, hit and miss look to this colourful still life……nothin coloured in or neat ink work. I like the freedom of not worrying about whether the washes go over the lines, or the lines go over the washes.
