You’re on a roll, very inspiring!

That's terrific Fiona, love the colours.

Fascinating. I like the fact that the various parts overlap the 'edges' of the painting below.

You’re getting quirkier by the day Fiona, with some outrageously interesting results. Love the originality of this.

Nice one, Fiona, love the colours and the wood grain background adds real interest. Can see you’re enjoying this challenge! - I’m also working on another one, there’s lots of scope.

Many thanks Katy, Linda, Lewis, Carole I, certainly enjoying the unpredictability of this challenge. Not sure how’s best to photograph this format though, with all the edges hanging off the page. Looks a bit scruffy taken on my table.....any ideas anyone?

Just missed you there Jenny! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next, I’m thinking about a still life next. Thanks again Jenny

I! really like this! Lots of movement and vigour

You are having fun with this challenge Fiona, this is excellent.

Fiona, I like the rough edges! Don’t know if you are familiar with the work of David Tress but he used to leave edges going off like this and I think it’s very effective and still fine to frame if required.

I agree with Katy and this really works.

Kay, Paul, Tessa, Shaun.....thank you all very much for your supportive comments, it’s appreciated. Tessa, I am familiar with David Tress, John Humber who posts on the Gallery introduced him to me a few years ago. Along with another artist who works in a similar style, and I can’t for the life of me remember his name. I’ll get back to you if I do. Tress does produce the most amazing effects with his gesso washes, thick graphite and scratching out. I might look him up again, see if I can get some inspiration to have another go! Thanks.

Agree about the overlapping. Very good Fiona.

Creative artistry Fiona.

Fiona you have a wonderful imagination and seem to be able to put your hand at anything with ease! Wonderful as usual!

Richard, Michael and William.......thank you very much gentleman for your generous comments.

Very creative Fiona, with colour!

Aye up Fiona, really caught my eye this one, clever construction!

Thank you very much Michael, Tracy and Carole for your lovely comments. Something a bit different Carole....lol.

A couple of scrap paintings, some brown paper and conte crayon. I’m enjoying this challenge! No preconceived ideas of the result, very liberating
