Isle of Whithorn Watchtower

Very creative indeed Fiona, your printing is excellent, nearly as good as mine!

Love the texture and I can only admire Artists who are able to create such works.

Great print Fiona, most inspiring!

Excellent Fiona, love the way you try and succeed in doing so many artistic projects.

Love the lead in. It focuses your eye and provides depth.

Praise indeed Alan! Thank you. Chris, you would be surprised at how easy these are to do, but very messy! Thank you for your kind comment. Thanks again Sarah! David thank you, I don’t know about succeeding but I like to try different things. Michael I’ll see what I can put together for the next one I do to show you the basic process. It’s just a bit messy, or that could just be me! There are some great views from the tower. Stevan, thank you very much for your welcome feedback.

Lovely monoprint Fiona, colours great, love the marks circles and lines.

Thank you very much Carole.

I really love your colours and lines. X

Thank you very much Faye.

10”x8” oil monoprint on Okra paper. I’ve used torn up pieces of newspaper for templates to form the rocks and the curve of the beach. The watchtower isn’t a lighthouse as such but it has been a light source for navigation for a few hundred years. It’s actually white in colour and does make a striking land mark.
