Under The Tree 3....(24)

Comments

The highlighted golds of the leaves do gleam and tend to lift the black thorn seedling out from depth of the earth.

As said by Angela the gold really stands out. This garden "series" has been great.

Your stuff shines out Fiona. I like this very much.

Absolutely love it Fiona

Thank you very much Angela, Richard, Sylvia 😘, Dennis for your lovely comments. I’ve enjoyed doing these few semi abstract pieces, and it’s been nice to get out.....even if it’s just in the garden and find something to paint. Thanks again.

You have used such a lovely selection of colours Fiona, and not afraid to emphasise those dark tones. Lovely job!

Best one yet, Fiona!

Tessa, thank you! Marjorie this is my favourite too. I think because as Tessa said, the colours look well together. Thanks very much for your comment.

This is very nice Fiona.

Another bold semi abstract, Fiona. Great mix of colours, and really like your use of darks.

A great idea to hone in on a small section of scrubland, well I hope it’s scrubland! Nice job Fiona.

Thank you Denise. Jenny I think we are both fans of black/darks...lol thank you. Mr Bickley, it most definitely isn’t scrubland, it happens to be a manicured corner of my garden! Well, okay, it’s a scruffy part of my garden, it’s good for the wildlife....lol. Thank you x

I really like this one Fiona...harmonious.

I really like these Fiona, great design and colour, stunning work.

A clever mix of shapes, colours and contrasts - and I like all the tangled lines - lovely work, Fiona.

Loving your recent abstract paintings Fiona.

From the splashes of gold to the darkest depths all tell me about the twists and weavings of the life of nature in this work Fiona love it, nice one.

This is dynamic Fiona. I am so impressed with your versatility. You know what they say about variety and the spice of life. Love it

Colours work well together.

Diane, Carole, Anne, Shaun, Malcolm, Diana and Jacqueline.....I’m so pleased you like this ....something a bit different.....I enjoy doing this kind of thing now, where you can use your imagination! Thank you very much.

The last one of the mixed media paintings I did of the undergrowth and wall under one of the trees in the garden. Again the focus was on the highlights on the golden leaves of the Blackthorn seedling......which will be dug out in the spring!
