Tactile Trunk

Comments

Who would believe there was so much to see in a tree trunk. Incredible detail Fiona.

Still very detailed Fiona, well done.

You may well be right Fiona, whilst it’s still a striking image, and beautiful drawing, graphite commands greater impact! With sanguin, often less is more, and can be used successfully with the introduction of both black and white chalk on tinted paper. You’ve seen Rembrandts drawings at an exhibition, I know that!

Great detail

I find the graphite drawing more striking Fiona but the detail in this is still incredible .

That’s unanimous then, my own preference is the graphite. Many thanks for your feedback Carole, Carole, Alan, Michael, Heather, Carol.

I like this Fiona but prefer the graphite.

I love this also Fiona!

Top drawer again, Fiona!

I think it's great Fiona

My leg again in colour? Very well studied Fiona, you are clever!

Thank you very much Linda, Shaun, Thalia, Russell and William for you kind comments. William, you’re daft...lol I agree black and white is tops!

A3 Sanguine conte pencil on news print paper. Another tree trunk from a photo taken at the Moss reserve. I’m not sure if the Sanguine is less striking than graphite for this subject?
