Thank you Margaret, Linda and Lewis. Billy and Mrs. Billy are always in the garden, or in the fields and trees around the garden, they still have this years four youngsters with them. That will change in a couple of months when they get chased off the territory. Plenty of willing subjects for sketching.

I’m glad you like him Mick. A while back I posted a metal sculpture I did of him which sits on top of an obelisk in the garden. Last night and this morning we’ve had 50/60 mph winds and one of his wings has broken off. Luckily I have a welder! Thanks again Mick.

Poor metal Billy. It’s too wild for him up there and he’s unable to fly a little more south. My Crocus lives in the conservatory and is nice and warm.

Lucky Crocus! In future I might take him down when we are expecting high winds.
