Watercolour painting on A3 paper of a path going through the woods and past the sunny glade . These glade are created when a big tree either falls or several are removed, we created glade in the woodlands in the Chilterns to allow the understory to grow and flourish. Even after decades of being in the shadows of big trees the foxgloves, bluebells and other ground flowers would appear within weeks certainly by the next spring.
