I'm loving your greens with complimentary pops of red.

This is beautiful, I love it !!

This is really good Paul.

Quickly done and very good!

Lovely painting Paul.

Thank you Bobby , Valerie, Stephen, John , Marjorie and Denise for you comments all are appreciated.

Very well painted Paul, you've handled the greens perfectly.Looking forward to seeing the next one.

A smashing country scene Paul, great greens!

Thanks Fiona, I do tend to worry about the greens in landscapes like this ,so easy to get it looking flat green .

I particularly like the sky, Paul, and the elongated format.

Thanks Jenny for you comment, I’m quite pleased with the sky , I wasn’t to sure at first but as the painting developed the sky blended in well .

You've done well in this format to not only create a clear focal area but to maintain interest in all other areas too. Nice one, Paul.

Thank you Gerry , it’s interesting that you mention the outer areas , when I paint in this format I think it’s important that it’s all inclusive, look odd with all in the middle etc , and nothing either side of interest.

Watercolour painting of a local village,so any beautiful places around here and I never think to use them . Enjoyed painting this scene and in this format, more detail in the WIP thread on the forum , wet my appetite to try a few more local scenes. Find then challenging due to the surrounding woodlands in the Chilterns so many greens can be confusing.
