Hill farms always look quite stark and this painting shows just that. A lot of working out has gone into this, all the angles and perspectives. I like the softness of the hills behind, another feature you often see in the Lake District. Another good one under your belt Paul.

You have done a brilliant job here, Paul. Those gentle hills and trees make a great backdrop for the authentic stone farm buildings- the little touches like the washing on the line are just right too!

Love all the angles and building shapes but the clothes line with the clothes drying is such an endearing element Paul.

A4 watercolour of a hill farm in the Lake District , bit of a journey back into his I used to paint and the scenes I enjoy doing . There is a full explanation on the forum , but of a struggle but now that I can control tbd five pond gauntlet that’s my hand it’s becoming easier to work .I enjoyed doing this one more than any I’ve done recently.
