Quick, get the roofing people in! Seriously, this is lovely, with character, and I like your addition of sheep.

What a great building, Paul! It fits so well into the surrounding landscape.

That building is fabulous Paul! I particularly like the way you have painted the roof.

I agree with you - another lovely watercolour Paul

David , Fiona and Heather thank you for your kind comments.

Nicely painted Paul 🙂

A lovely ramshackle building Paul so well painted.

I like how you've painted the poor dilapidated building, Paul and good use of your imagination!

Little gem about to fall down.great colours Paul.

Could almost be here...nice one Paul....

Oh my goodness, that roof! You caught it just before it collapsed I think Paul. These buildings have great charm, a little gem.

So much character in these places buildings, it's nice how you have painted it with sheep adding life to the scene.

Denise , Sylvia, Marjorie and Sarah thank you all for you comments it so nice when you post a painting and have such nice comments about it .

Well that roof steals the scene Paul. You've guessed the colours perfectly from that B&W photo.

I particularly like the way you've done the red roof tiles, Paul - do find some more red roofs , won't you, as I'd love to see what you make of them!

A lovely quaint building and nice watercolour painting Paul, looks great!

Thank you Frank , Jo and Angela I appreciate your comments , I have several yesterday I’m thinking about doing Jo just need to think about different scenes to set then into.

This is great Paul. I love the way the roof seems to be collapsing.

Thank you Spencer I appreciate your comment.

That would make me a nice studio with a bit of paint and a new roof… Nice one Paul and I agree that they have character! Can’t help noticing that your paper is cockling which can be annoying - heavier paper perhaps if you’re adding a lot of washes… I use 300lb weight generally which is probably over the top, but I like working on thick stuff…

Such a fresh image, Paul

Alan and Thalia thank you for your comments, Alan I discovered half way through the painting that I had picked up the wrong paper , I had put this thinner sheet I the wrong folder .

A lovely old building with so much character. Lovely Paul.

Great painting Paul,

Thank you Gill for your kind comment.

I love the old barn Paul and the distant landscape.

I like how you've caught the atmosphere and character of this building and landscape.

David and Fran thank you for your kind comments I appreciate them.

A4 watercolour painting looking across the marshes/ wetlands to higher ground in the distance. A made up scene using a on line b@ w photo off the old derelict farm house , I find these old buildings fascinating and wonder who lived there and what it looked like .
