This is beautifully drawn and painted Paul. A true artist knows when to stop and this proves it. Alongside roses iris I think the hardest to paint, I love this.

A3 watercolour on a smooth paper, a very large painting for me , I love Iris’s and have done a few paintings before but not this big . It’s on the forum as a WIP , decided to stop now as several people thought it looked fine and I will fiddle around with it for a while and mess it up . Dedicated to all the ladies on POL for Valentines Day especially, Sylvia, Tessa , Marjorie, Gillian, Jenny and Denise for the comment and encouragement. Thanks to the fellas as well .
