Through the Spinney

Comments

Like the shafts of light coming through the trees. Paul..

Thank you Sylvia , in quite obsessed with light in trees at the moment, might be a hangover from the Christmas lights . I could spend ages watching the light change , can’t say the same for traffic lights though .

The light looks effective coming through the trees Paul.

Thank you Denise for taking the time to comment.

Another wonderful loose painting Paul, a perfect portrayal of the weak winter sun.

Love this Paul

Very appealing work Paul!

Thank you Fiona, Rachel and Alan for your kind comments, they are always appreciated.

Lovely light through trees Paul 🌳

Lovely watercolour Paul, am having trouble concentrating too, I think it's because it's January!!

Like this Paul, the trees are particularly good

Thank you Faye and Sarah, it could well be that Sarah.

Thank you Heather , painting this was really enjoyable and reminded me of how often I used to do this sort of painting, sometimes we think we have moved on , but then enjoy doing things over again.

Love the way you have dealt with the rays of light. A great composition for a painting!!

Very good little Watercolour , although you did it at home, it gives the impression of being painted on the spot. Well done Paul.

Beautifully painted. You have captured the rays of light coming through the trees.

David , George and Spencer thank you for your kind comments. I would like to have sat and painted out side George, unfortunately the Spinney is not the place to linger to long , several unsavoury characters have been hanging about of late .

Lovely work Paul. I particularly like the shafts of light. Well done!

Another woodland and light shafts treat Paul.

This is a lovely loose watercolour, really like your palette.

Thank you Richard and Brian fir your kind comments.

A4 watercolour, I was not able to concentrate on a painting I am working on so went for a short walk. This walk leads into the local park but is left to go wild , full of birds , squirrels etc. the sun was shining through the trees again today. Came home nice cuppa and twenty minutes later a reasonable painting, still can’t concentrate. for more than half hour or so , must be my age.
