Just the right amount of detail Paul, like it

It is very nice painting Paul 👍

A glorious winter landscape Paul, you’ve created a lovely story with your composition.

I like all of this Dixie. Your shepherd, dog and sheep are just in the right place and make the painting!

Heather, Art, Fiona and Tessa thank you for your comments I really appreciate them.

What a tree, it almost begs to be drawn. The shepherd was a good addition.

This is lovely Paul, a cold winter feel to it, and the shepherd, sheep and dog are lovely additions

A great winter scene, Paul. Lovely details. The tree is just right and the sheep, farmer and sheepdog beautifully positioned.

Nice....poor little ones near me don't "go" in....

Thank you for your comments Lew, Cheryl and Spencer I appreciate you having taken the time to look and comment. It was the tree tat started me want to do this scene Lew, I did shout out to me .

Thank you Sylvia we must have been writing at the same time, to be honest I think most sheep satay out unless it’s exceptionally hard weather but you will know that better than me living in sheep country .

how wonderful scenery, i really love this! Have a very good time, christmas; keep care!!

Nicely painted Paul 🙂

Wonderful tree Paul. Winter is the toughest season but can also be the most beautiful in my humble opinion!

Lovely snow scene, Paul, and the addition of the shepherd, sheep and dog is just right.

Smashing scene Paul. The farmer and dog both look hunched up against the cold.

Lovely winter scene Paul beautifully painted.

A3 paper with painting inset , watercolour with a little white acrylic for the snow on the trees etc. Idea of the landscape was inspired by a online photo set in summer , the sheep , shepherd and dog were my own inspiration plus changing it to a winter scene . I kept the detailing to a minimum hence the tree not having a rough bark look to it.
