Over the hedge and far away.

Love the panoramic format here Paul, it really suits the subject with the field perspective lines going in to the picture. Which are again balanced with the immediate foreground foliage.

Delicate painting Paul, nice perspective.

Lovely delicate painting, love the birds and the colours in the sky

Lovely work, Paul, with good aerial perspective and nice colours in the trees and foreground hedge The birds are so good and add interest too. (Good title!)

Thank you Fiona, Gillian, Hillary and Anne for you much appreciated comments. I do like using this format for landscapes Fiona , but I thing you need to be selective of what fits and looks right. Don’t often see this format used much these day , mind you I’m a bit old fashioned at times.

Beautiful delicate painting Paul, I also like this format very much.

Lovely winter scene, Paul - would make a beautiful xmas card :)

great sense of depth achieved Paul

Thank you Denise, Margaret and Paul for taking the time to comment, they are much appreciated.

Excellent aerial perspective, Dixie, and the cold is very apparent. Not easy to achieve. I always like to see birds in these open landscapes. Bri

Many thank Brian for you comment. I do agree re birds in a landscape paintings, it give that bit of life to the scene, they are always present when out in the countryside, why not in a painting.

Love the format you used Paul for this happy looking painting.
