Recovering the Boat by Paul (Dixie) Dean
A4 in A3 mount water colour of a Hastings trawler recovered after the days work . Part imaginary, the figure on the boat is of the from this trawler , I was amazed at his hight but it’s in proportion. The trawlers need to be launched each sailing and then recovered and taken up above the high waterline for safety, hard work after a day out working . Very tough sturdy boats build for the seas and the recovery and launching procedures.
