How lovely Paul

Lovely and misty and you definitely get a feel for the boat emerging out of the mistiness

Sylvia and Heather thank you for your kind comments.

Simple is often best and it’s a nice feeling when something works out with no apparent effort.

Lovely and so tranquil, Paul - well done!

Well painted Paul

That looks peaceful, well composed

Lovely and serene Paul.

Cool and calm sailing, very relaxing Paul.

Many thank to you all for your kind comments. It’s a surprise to end up with something without putting to much effort in , I don’t mean that I didn’t work on it it’s just much less detailed than what I normally do.

This is so beautiful Paul and very inviting. How wonderful to float along on that boat.

Lovely peaceful scene, Paul.

Thank you Carole , Jenny and Christine I appreciate your kind comments.

Thank you Stephen and Valerie for you most kind comments.

Nicely understated reflections there Paul.

Lonely and Lovely:)

I like this a lot Dixie. It's so serene.

Those red sails stand out beautifully against the misty background.

Thank you Sandra , Thames barges are one of my favourite maritime vessels.

Good sense of claim, created with those pale washes Paul.

A4 watercolour, done very quickly due the heat, limited pallet. I did this quick painting as it to hot to be working on my larger watercolour painting, due to the heat it’s difficult getting the details etc to work properly. Just a bit of fun and quite pleasant went straight into it with brushes no pre sketches.
