That's so lovely Paul. I know Hastings so well. Boat has a Rye registration. I love details. Irs very goo

Thanks Julie , my iPad does the same thing , nor a help when your dyslexia and it changes words etc .

I'm sorry Paul I didn't read tht you painted it today. Well done as I know you have such a bad hand at the moment. I finished mine today after digging out a bamboo clump I'm trying to irradicate from my garden. Vic has a hip bursa, so not much help. It was so hot and I've overdone it.. .hence not liking my picture an awful lot. I might do tomorrow

Great boat Paul.

Really good Paul and you did well painting Watercolours in this heat.

I like this very much, you’ve captured those awkward boat shapes so well.

Thank you all for your very kind comments they are appreciated , I was determined to do something despite the heat .

The boats are beautifully depicted plus the early misty atmosphere - well done, Paul especially in this heat!

Nice work Paul.

Lovely painting Paul

Anne , Andrew and Rupert many thanks for your kind comments.

Great little boat painting Paul.

A lovely little painting Dixie, and well done for tackling watercolour in this heat!

Glad you did this and it's a very nice end result

I love this one Paul, simply beautiful !

Great detail, Paul

Carole , John , Heather , Tessa, Valerie and Thalia thank you for your very kind comments, they are always appreciated. Working in the heat was awkward and I had to work faster , I do think that concentrating on get the paint to move , stopped the temptation to doing to much detail as I had to work so quickly.

Good one Paul. Lovely painting.

Thanks Christine, I appreciate your comment.

Oh that's lovely Paul! I really like the colour palette. No sign of a wobble!

I haven’t been on the site for a while but I can immediately spot one of your boat paintings Paul! Always a delight to see.

Thanks Fiona ,have missed you artwork.

Excellent rendition of the boat and i like how you have kept the sky and sea all in one, wish my boats turned out this good 😉. Well done Paul and keep them coming.👍

A4 watercolour painting in A3 mount , fishing boat at waters edge on a calm morning making ready to sail . First painting I’ve completed in a day for months, nice to do so and was relaxing and enjoyable, it’s developed and adapted from an old online photo. Not easy painting today as it’s so hot to paint was drying before I could move it around and needed constant wetting. Bid wobble but that becoming my trade mark , not bothered as I’m still painting.

I have sketched most of my life on and off I became interested in watercolour following a spinal injury whilst in hospital but did not follow it up. My eldest daughter bought me a beautiful wooden box set of half pans about twenty five years ago I dabbled on and off until retirement twelve years…
