Good use of left overs Paul. Lovely misty effect.

A good idea, Paul - very nice effect here!

It was clearly a mist-ery of what to do with the surplus paint. Very effective, Paul, very nice indeed.

Thank you Carole , Anne and Gerry for your kind comments , stay with the artwork Gerry .

Turned out well Paul with your left over paint and very topical with the weather we’ve been having.

Thank you Stephen and Christine I appreciate your comments .

I do like to see he different types of boats Dixie and the way you’ve handled the mist.

I admire the misty effects you have achieved Paul.

Excellent misty effect Paul.

Thank you Tessa , Carole and George.

Like how you’ve done this Paul.

Wonderful Paul.

A really good capturing of sea post and a good and unusual trio of boats

oops meant sea fog!

Andrew , Denise and Heather thank you for your kind comments. It’s the spell check I bet Heather it get me every time , as to the trio of boats a sight like this was quite common in the along the Thames estuary in the first half of the twentieth century. Sailing barges we’re still used a lot for coastal work between London , Norwich , Ipswich etc until the early 1960s .

Great misty effects, Paul.

I like this very much and I like the title too !

Thank you Jenny and Valerie for your kind comments.

A lovely collection Paul. I like the way the last ship fades into the mist.

Thanks Fiona , it’s almost as if it’s coming out of the mists of time now that I look at it a few day later.

Thank you John , I appreciate your comment.

Well painted, Paul. I also hate wasting paint. Happy New Year.

Linda thank you for you comment I appreciate it .

Watercolour on A3 paper of three of my favourite types boats , tug, steam cargo ship and a Thames sailing barge. Painted using up the paint in my palette ( hate waste , told it’s because I’m a Yorkshireman), I do like to see what I can use the paint for other than washing it away.
