Simply perfect. Well done Paul.

Doesn’t look that quick to me Dixie! I like it very much.

Real sense of distance with the boats sailing towards the horizon.

Super painting, good colours.

Nicely done, Paul!

Thank you all fir your kind comments. It was quick Tessa as I had set my mind where I wanted everything and use a vert basic sketch , went a bit wrong with the boat on the far left wanted it slightly sided on but the paint had different ideas it just blobbed so I smudged it to a rough shape.

Nicely balanced composition Paul.

Oooh yes….

Very nice and good quick sketch Paul

Watercolour on A3 paper, wasn’t in the moody to paint anything complex so settled for this quick painting of Thames Sailing Barges heading out to sea . Set on a calm dull day , these superb craft can still be seen on the Thames Estuary and various other places along the south east coast. Deliberately kept it to the minimum detail and complete in around forty minutes but in two separate sessions.
