Lovely painting Paul. The boats are so well depicted.

Love those boats Paul. This has a good flow to it and like how you have painted the details so softly.

Nicely done Paul 😊

Nice work Paul, the setting has an Asian feel to it, could be the jungles of Sumatra rather than Surrey.

Really good Paul

Christine, Carole,Stephen, Andrew and Heather thank you for your kind comments I do appreciate them. Your right Andrew it does have a jungle look , purely by accident I didn’t notice till you mentioned it. On of the subjects that I find very relaxing and rewarding, such beautiful craft and fortunately there are a few still sailing.

Nice painting Paul, glad you enjoyed painting it, that's what it should be all about.

Smashing painting Paul.

Water is great Paul...calm, serine and early morning.

This is really beautiful Paul. The detail on the boats is terrific. The softness of the rest of the painting pushes the boats to the fore. Very well done.

Thank you George, Denise, Sylvia and Spencer for you comments, they are appreciated. It’s always very pleasing when a painting is well received and people take the time to look and comment a great boost for the moral .

Lovely barges in a calm setting, Paul!

Thank you Anne I appreciate that you have taken time to look and comment.

It looks a relaxing and calm scene Paul, super painting.

Thank you Fiona and Coral for you kind comments I appreciate them .

This is lovely!

A4 watercolour of two Tames sailing barges in the early morning. Imaginary scene, I’ve had a bit of difficulty painting in the hot water as the paint drys so fast. This was done quite quickly in two sessions avoiding the heat of the day . Not particularly accurate but done for fun , I enjoyed painting this.
