Thank you all so much for you very kind comments. I have sat on this for a week( not the tree) unsure if I should post it or not, due to the leaves on the front, but it seems to be much better than I thought.

Like yourself Paul, I love trees.....never happier than when I’m kicking the leaves up in autumn walking through the woods. Your beech has the magnificence that these old fellas are in their surroundings. Great shapes and autumnal colours.
