Awaiting a tow

Your ships look great, Paul - good details and nice reflections too!

Very nice Paul.

Back to Vintage and very good.

Thank you Anne , Denise and Richard for your kind comments they are appreciated.

Don't stop painting these old ships, Dixie. They are great.

Always excellent your vintage subjects Paul.

Thank you Lew and Fiona for your kind comments. Thanks Lew I will take that as a licence to paint old ship etc, I get moaned at by my daughter and her husband about the amount of ships I paint . As I tell them some people have no taste nor concept of how good old ships, trains and trucks can look. Maybe because I’m Vintage that I manage to do them reasonably well Fiona.

These are lovely, very nice

A well grafted picture Paul.

I like the colours here Paul - you’ve used them before I remember, and to good effect.

Not a subject that thrills me Paul . But you have created an interesting painting.

Wobbly lines are beautiful and artistic Paul 😊

Many thanks Romila, Chris, Marjorie, Sylvia and Frank for your kind comments. Your quite right Frank if there in the right place , so frustrating when there not.

Your ability to paint ships is so skilful Paul. Beautifully painted.

Two beautiful ships there Paul.

Thank you Carole and Carole fir you kind comments.

Watercolour of two Blue Funnel Line ships on waiting to be towed out . I have tried this scene a few times and always abandoned it I think because of the two large black ships . This time I decided to not use a bold colour and I think it works . Couple of cables a bit wobble due to hand problems otherwise I quit pleased with it , kept the detailing to the minimum as well .
