Clyde Puffer

Comments

Sorry about your ongoing hand problems Dixie, but I don’t notice any lines that look out of place, indeed probably add to the character of this lovely old boat. I like the background history you always give as well.

It's a delightful watercolour Paul, the boat is excellent.

Great that you are still making pictures despite your hand problems, always a pleasure to see these old ships.

Thank you Tessa, Denise and Lew for your kind comments they are much appreciated.

Looks great to me Paul,a beautiful painting of an old puffer, reminded me of the TV show with Rab C Nesbit, "Parahandy" I think it was called.

Bad hands have not made this any less beautiful. A very skilled rendition of the boat and I like the softness of the background. Hope your hands recover soon Paul.

Two very good posts today Paul.

Thank you David , Carole and Richard for your kind comments, and the well wishes .

A Beauty, Loads of character here!

Another lovely boat Paul, always so interesting to read the history too. Hope your hand is soon on the mend x

Thank you Thalia and Katy for your kind remarks, they are feeling a bit better today thank Katy.

Watercolour of a Clyde Puffer , used to deliver coal etc the the highlands and island of Scotland. Would beach at low tide to be unloaded . I’m having problems with my hands at the moment and finding it difficult to do any detailing with accuracy, may be a few not so straight lines etc
