Really good sketch, half an hour or not.

Your brushes certainly do work Paul! Excellent sketch in the time you set yourself.

Thank you Lew , I decided as it was time up not to do any adjustment, it appears as it was done faults and all. I find these quick sketches fun to do and there is a lot of learning in them.

Thank you Fiona. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m always a bit nervous when I haven’t painted etc for a few days or so , not sure why, ok once I have done something no matter how small.

Brushes definitely still working well Paul

You are really into your horses Paul. Nice sketch.

For half an hour this is very good Paul.

Smashing sketch Paul.

You have smashed it again wit a wonderful watercolour sketch!!

Many thanks for taking the time to look and make a comment , Heather, Sylvia, Richard, Denise, and David your comment are appreciated

Beautifully sensitive Paul and I love the simplicity of this.

Well done Paul a delightful thirty minutes work.

Mission accomplished. The brushes are still perfect Paul, a great 30 mins worth here. I know what you mean about coming back from a break but I think Ive cured it. I keep 3 in progress so I never have a blank piece of paper to start.

Thank you for your comment Brian. I always ways has something on the go, I just lost momentum and had to get back into the mode before touching what I had left .

A slightly smaller than a4 watercolour. One of my half hour sketches , wet in wet for the most part , a horse feeding on fodder on a misty morning. Used Payne’s grey, lemon yellow , green and Rose madder . As I haven’t painted over the holidays this was a warm up and to see if the brushes still worked .
