It look really good Diana, I think we are to hard on ourselves at times. The light and the subtle shadows are beautifully painted.

Wow Diana, that is absolutely superb! Love the flowers and how you have treated the shadows about the painting!!

Another excellent painting Diana, the light and reflections are wonderful.

Yes, certainly Wow, Diana. Stunning painting.

I would be very happy if this was me, it's lovely Diana

The light is so beautifully captured Diana, another excellent painting.

It may be a combination but it’s combined beautifully. Great use of shadows and reflections.

Lovely feeling of light here Diana.

Lovely painting Diana. Is that a lion peeking out of the mug?

Don’t they go well together Diana!? That little teapot is a dream.

A beautiful painting, Diana - with lovely light and shadows!

Beautiful still life Diana. Lovely areas of looseness.

Thank you Paul and yes , ultra self critical! That’s got to be constructive 👍👍😂 Thank you David. It was a joy of a subject. Thank you Faye. That’s a lovely compliment. Thank you again Russell. I hadn’t intended it to be so loose but wanted the items to connect and happy with that outcome. Thank you Mia. You are always so generous with your thoughts and it’s appreciated. That’s such a lovely compliment Heather. I often think that about other artists work. Thank you Val. It stopped me in my tracks when I saw that light in the kitchen. I did ‘pose’ the objects a bit 😂 Thank you for your interest Spencer. So encouraging to read your comments. Thank you Stephen. The light was absolutely stunning. A gift of a subject.

Thank you Linda. It’s a Herdy sheep doing the peeping 😊. I lie Herdwick sheep. Thank you Tessa. Yes, the colours did compliment each other and cast wonderful reflections. I really love that little teapot too. Thank you Denise. I really appreciate your interest.

Thank you Karen. Your interest is really motivating. Thank you Valerie. I do love watercolour most when it has the opportunity to do it’s own thing. Magic! Thank you Karen. I’m delighted that you think the light had ‘worked’ Thank you Anne, I strengthened shadow areas a few times but not sure if it would have still worked without going so dark.

Thank you Dympna. I’m pleased that you think the loose areas work in the painting. Thank you for your interest. Thank you Rikke. Your interest and compliment are very much appreciated.

Beautifully painted Diana. A great composition and as always you’ve captured the light and reflections so well.
