Thank you Christine and Stephen. The mouth was so difficult!!! I’ve had to stop because the paper was suffering 😂. She looks like she’s had some nasty dental mishap

Great portrait Diana. I agree with you about mouths. They are so difficult, especially where teeth are concerned. This portrait radiates her energy and enthusiasm and you have painted it superbly.

Half imperial watercolour. Is anyone else having a go at the weekly portraits? I have only just discovered it so missed a few weeks. It was fascinating watching the guest artist painting and learning more about the sitter. My tutor said,‘it’s always the mouth’ In terms of difficulty. How right he is 😄
