That water has a glass-like effect, giving a very peaceful tranquil atmosphere to the painting.

It’s a very peaceful cove at the bottom of a steep decent so I was given a photo my husband took. Thank you Anne. It’s a very peaceful place Probably due to its difficult descent. Thank you Diane.
