Dramatic. Love it.

Looks like a massive swell, nice one Diana

Love your wetness!

Really like this Diana the water particularly it looks as if to swallow you up.

Thank you Denise. My husband goes swimming there at sunrise Thank you Heather. My husband was bobbing about in there 😂 Thank you Paul. I always appreciate your thoughts. Thank you Linda. It was one of those paintings that you need to step back from to see if it was working

Thank you Sue. I loved those early morning colours

Fabulous Diana. Feel like I've been swimming underwater and just popped up to get some air!

Love the flow of the water Diana. Your painting is so alive and has such a strong sense of presence.

Lovely work 😍

Dramatic & magnificent, Diana!

A great painting Diana. I like the viewpoint where you feel you are immersed in the water.

That is really impressive, Diana - excellent!

Lovely watercolour Diana, the wet in wet works so well.

Thank you Chris. My hi DC band took the reference photograph and probably exactly what he was doing. Thank you Carole. I predicted a non too successful outcome so enjoyed exploring rarely used brushes. Thank you Faye. It’s good of you to leave a comment. I appreciate it. Than you Manoj. I think the early morning palette adds drama.

Thank you Spencer. I have a swimming fanatic husband who takes literally thousands of photographs . Thank you Anne. It’s always encouraging to hear your king thoughts. Many thanks Christine. It was a really carefree afternoon’s painting Thank you Katy. It was a tremendous challenge working out the timing in the wet in wet. I was usually too quick and the colour disappeared.

You have such command on watercolour, very inspirational Diana!!

That's very effective: the movement in the water is really well done.

Just fabulous!

Thank you Romila. You really should see some of my efforts at my weekly class. Mostly in the bin 😂 Thank you Tobert. I’m really pleased you think that as I found it really challenging. Thank you very much Val. I did like those darks.

Half sheet watercolour on Saunders Waterford 300lb CP paper. Had a lovely afternoon using my biggest brushes and painting wet into wet , experimenting with paint consistency and timing.
