I live amongst sheep and lambs. This is a fab painting Diana you have got the expressions so well. Nice, nice brush work.

Fabulous painting

Morning Heather. The sheep are very happy and looked after I luxury on a children’s farm. They were waiting for a meal. Thank you Jim. My favourite breed is the Herdwick. Not sure what these are. Thank you Stephen. I haven’t achieved the drama there actually was in this scene but I loved the light catching the wire. Thank you Marjorie. I’m surprised I’ve not packed the oils away yet! Biggest oil painting so far. 28x 27’’. Mostly brushwork but big enough to explore techniques. I’ve painted this in watercolour so thought Id attempt it in oils.
