Its lovely to be back and seeing all the beautiful work here as well as reading your motivating comments Thank you Sylvia. It was actually too hot at times! Glorious Thanks Dennis. It was a great break but still couldn't wait to get back to all my painting stuff at home! Thank you George . Its certainly a beautiful part of the country ..........that's coming from a Cumbrian bred girl! Thank you Jim. I'm getting more confident in using a pen for sketching . It looks ok if you make a mistake! Thank you Cesare . I had a tiny travel paint box and was made to mix colours which was a good exercise in itself. Thank you Gudrun . I have been away in my Cornish house for a couple of weeks with no internet so have missed the gallery and my P.O. Friends. These sketches were done in my 4x12 inch travel journal as the weather has been glorious.
