Really like your “kitchen” pictures Diana. Love the way you capture everyday things but often from an unusual angle and as always your expression of shadows and light is superb.

Worth waiting for Diana, another gem. You have an incredible eye for detail.

another unique painting from you Diana, a sight we all see everyday but never see the beauty well done

Fabulous Diana. Interesting viewpoint and instantly recognisable as one of yours..

Crisp, clean and superbly painted.

Thank you Tao. Virtually anything can be an interesting subject in the right light. Thank you Heather. Formal composition isn’t my strong point, especially with landscapes but I do love unusual viewpoints. Thank you Linda . I spend most time in my painting room , then the kitchen ! Thank you Carole. I loved the light on the tomato which, in retrospect could have been Stronger in the painting. Thank you Romila. I struggled to get the contrast on my photograph. Morning Jennifer. Thank you for your lovely feedback. I’m pleased it caught your eye. Hello Stephen and thanks for that. I was on the verge of muddying one of the onions so good to hear it described as clean.

Thank you very much Gudrun. I feel back in home territory painting this. Hello Manoj. Thank you for your interest in my painting.

I wonder what you were about to make with one tomato....or did that come after the painting? 😉The tomato catches my eye but the whole composition is interesting, especially with the light. This is just the kind of thing which interests me, too, Diana.

Delicious juicy watercolour - love it!

I almost missed this beauty, Diana. I am glad I looked back a few pages and found it. You always make something special of such 'normal' subjects. What a great idea!!!

Thank you Marjorie. I might have been making a Cheese and onion sandwich. My favourite! Thank you David and Mia. I love painting still life studies.

Another beautifully painted kitchen scene Diana.

Thank you Margaret I get a lot of pleasure in planning a watercolour . Hello Andrea and thanks for your ‘sharp’ comment!

And you do them so well Diana, long may your kitchen provide inspiration.

Thank you Barry. My husband desperately wants me to move to a house he inherited in south Cornwall. The kitchen in that house is also good for dramatic light !
