Nice job Diana, glad to see you are back in the painting chair. Jim

Brilliant Diana, they look like the are on the move with the suggestion of movement in this piece. Pleased you are better, and learnt you lesson. Like so many of us.

It's terrific Diana, lovely neutral palette which shows the fish off well. The go carting sounds fun even if it had a heavy price! Hope you continue to get back to full fitness.

Another amazing watercolour, Diana, beautiful palette and lovely composition. Superb shining fish in the foreground.

Can almost smell e'm Dianna..

You, Karl, Dennis, Craig.....what is it with fish? You all have produced beauties!

Was there a reason for driving the go cart Diana? This is a fantastic painting. I would agree, you can smell them from here.

Diana, this really is a stunning painting. You captured the silvery shine perfectly.

Thanks Jim. Good to be back Thank you Anirban, it's good to be painting again. I love this colour combination. Thanks John, your right, I do tend to learn the hard way. I would have loved another go too. Hi Fiona, yes the carting was fun but I hadn't thought of the damage it could do my neck. I was really worried initially that I would need another operation. Ah well, life's too short to be cautious!! Thank you Margaret, it's a bit unfinished but I like the colours and light Hello Cesare. Thanks for your continual support. It's lovely that you like the painting Thanks Peter, I knew that was your comment before I saw your name. Hello Marjorie. I have several paintings of fish in my gallery. I went through a phase of photographing fish in fishmongers. I find them rather beautiful despite finding the smell and taste revolting! Thank you David, it's good to be behind the brushes again. Hello Adele, the carts belong to my sons father in law. He has enough grounds to have a track in part of his garden. It looked too much fun to miss out. I hadn't realised how much bouncing about there was and am just plain irresponsible at times!! I'm glad you like the fish. It's rather unfinished but I loved the colours. Diana

Oh yes! This is great, Diana. Perfect palette too!

Beautiful composition Diana.

Thank you Mia, I moved from realism to a lot looser as I developed it. Hello Jennifer and thanks. I love that combination of colour. I seem to get burnt sienna and greys/ blues into a lot of my work. Thank you Henry, I find composition very difficult and these fish were in symmetrical rows on my reference photo. Diana

Beautiful, as usual, Diana - love the combination of colours and it has an attractive design element to it with a feeling of movement. I would leave it unfinished, it works really well just as it is!

Absolutely stunning, Diana! Wonderful lively palette and brushwork, fabulous sparkle and superb textures.

Love it Diana, the colours are so attractive and all those eyes on me. A great composition.

Lovely fish, beautifully painted, Diana.

Wow! Another fabulous painting Diana!

Another thank you Jennifer. I love the colours here. Its another one that's in the back of the wardrobe !

Half imperial watercolour I have been out of action for a while after driving a go cart across country. Not too clever ft someone who has had operations on cervical spine!! I had a useless arm for a few weeks but it was fun. Anyway, lesson learned and I'm back on the painting chair started painting this as a more detailed study but loved the colours and semi abstract look.
